HOT-DIP GALVANISING
- UNPARALLELED SURFACE PROTECTION
The use of metallic zinc coatings to
protect iron or steel surfaces is well established, with common coating
techniques including metal spraying, electroplating, painting and hot-dip
glavanising. Of these approaches, none can surpass the protection offered
by hot-dip galvanising.
From boat trailers to traffic-light poles and electricity
transmission towers, from rivets and screws to heavy-duty industrial applications
such as pipe work and wall cladding, galvanised finishes consistently
provide the most durable safeguard against corrosive conditions and rough
handling.
Hot-dip galvanising, in particular, ensures the highest
level of protection:
The zinc coating is thicker than with
other methods and the molten zinc bonds to the product surface to achieve
the most complete coverage of potential corrosion spots such as corners,
edges, seams, rivets and recesses.
The result - a reliable and robust finish which
delivers cost savings at the point of manufacture, high resistance of
damage during transport and installation, and long-term economies through
reduced maintenance costs and an extended product life.
FIRST-CLASS
GALVANISING FACILITIES
With a bath size of 9.5m(L) x 1.5m(W) x 2.6m(D),
most jobs can be completed in a single dip. Lengths of up to 10.5m can
also be double-dipped.
